The front cover image is a medium close up shot of a student in the college. The masthead, which is the title of the magazine 'Student', is big and bold, and the font style is consistent as the article headings are in the same font as the title. There is not a specific colour scheme, as various colours are used such as blue, yellow, red, black and white; which is quite unusual for a magazine as particular colour schemes are presented on the front cover. There is also a barcode on the front page as well as the price of the magazine, the issue number and the date that the magazine would be out. The cover lines of the magazine are highlighted in blue and under the article headings, there are subheadings highlighted in black giving a bit of further information and details that the articles would be about.
This is an example of a contents page from a college magazine. The colour scheme is clear in this as it consists of 3 main colours, which are pink, white and blue. With each article from the magazine listed, the page numbers of the articles are also listed so it is easier for people to find the articles they want to read first. As well as that, several pictures are also included, which relate to the articles for example, the head teacher announcement article has a photo of the head teacher beside it. The contents page hasn't been broken down into specific sections.
